3 Daily Non-Negotiables For Your Copywriting Business

Every single day I do 3 things, regardless.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Christmas day, my birthday or I’m on holiday, or even when I am feeling under the weather; these are my 3 daily non-negotiables:

1) Write – Every single day I write something. Whether it’s an article, client work, or simply jotting down some thoughts in my journal or notebook.

I write.

2) Market – Every single day I market my business. Even if it’s just a tweet, sharing a post, or writing a LinkedIn post.

I market myself.

3) Business – Every single day I think about my business in some shape or form. Even if it’s the kernel of an idea forming for a story, or thinking how I can best improve on a process or a skill-set.

I think about my business.

These are things I do as naturally as brushing my teeth and going to bed.

So what? Why am I telling you?

Because if you don’t have daily ‘non-negotiables’ then you most likely won’t reach your business goals, or at best your pathway and progress won’t be as smooth as you would like.

Trust me on this one.

These 3 things help move me forward and keep things in perspective when things get tough.

And it’s especially when things get tough that you need to hold onto your breeches and ride the storm.

You see it’s the daily things you do that will help you 6 months, a year, or even further down the line.

For example; I often have content that I wrote ages ago get traction out of nowhere, or I find an inventive way to somehow re-purpose it. And from my content, I get people contact me.

In short; I get leads.

Who then turn into clients.

Having these 3 daily non-negotiables have really helped me with my business, as well as my personal and professional development.

Because at the end of the day, you are only as good as your last gig.

So, what are your daily non-negotiables for your business?
